    DUBBLEDGE “ONE INCH PUNCH!” REVIEW

DubbledgeThere I was getting all down in the dumps about the doom & gloom of winter coming and then Dubbledge goes & drops a banger of a mixtape and smacks winter in the face with his "One Inch Punch!". Dubbledge came on the scene four years ago with the "Fist of Jah" mixtape and got people buzzing from the get go, thanks to his flows which were as sharp as they were funny. 2007 was the year he dropped his debut album, "The Richest Man in Babylon", on the much-missed Low Life Records, and now two years later he is back with this little beauty.

ORPHANS OF CUSH “WHITE NOIZE” REVIEW

CushThe wait is over, folks. The mighty Orphans of Cush is out today, so what better time for a little review. For those who didn't see our earlier article and still don't know what is going on, Orphans of Cush is a collaborative project, bringing together the vocal stylings of Triple Darkness cronies, M9 and Cyrus Malachi, alongside Masikah and Kyza. In a word: BIG. The release has been deservedly hyped over the past few months and as you'd expect from such a high-calibre lyrical quartet, the deliveries are on point and the content is packed full of mysticism and street commentary - the sort of themes now synonymous with the Triple Darkness camp and its many affiliates.

    ORPHANS OF CUSH

OOC Some of you might look at that title and think, "aren't we all?", but don't worry this isn't some sort of social commentary on the lost generation of weedheads, this is in fact the start of something immensely dope. Fans and followers of the Triple Darkness collective will probably already be aware of this new project and some of you may have seen the name being banded about in hip hop chatrooms for a few months.

KYZA “SHOTS OF SMIRNOFF” ALBUM REVIEW

Shots of Smirnoff"There's a sweepstake, pon my EP release date" - Kyza knew we were all waiting for him to release something solid, even back then when he dropped that verse on the Itch FM mixtape, one of many sick verses that gained him a lot of respect from heads, both in the crowds at his shows and amongst his fellow hip hop cronies. He did release an album a couple of years back, "The Experience", but I didn't think it was all it could've been, given the amount of skills Mr Sayso has on the mic, but now he is back with the much anticipated LP, "Shots of Smirnoff".
