Fresh off their massive tour of Europe, Souls of Mischief are releasing their latest solo album very soon and they are kicking things off by dropping the first single, “Proper Aim“. The Prince Paul produced joint is set to blow up speakers around the world, as one of hip hop’s favourite crews returns after almost a decade away from the mic.

“Proper Aim” brings us back into the world of the Souls, where it seems not much has changed in terms of wordplay and flows. This is only a good thing though. A-Plus, Opio, Phesto and Tajai are in my opinion, one of the best unions ever to come out of hip hop and so I was hyped to see that they haven’t lost anything from their styles over the years. Prince Paul’s trademark style is on hand to reinvigorate the crew even more and the result is a tight first single.

The release features two more tracks as well: “For Real Y’all” and “Postal“, making it a nice little taster for what’s going to be coming from the album, “Montezuma’s Revenge“, when it is finally dropped. The single will be out on 25 January.
