Para, Para, Para… what can I say, the guy is fantastic. We were big fans of his “Rescue Me/High Speed Dubbing” release a few months ago - even more so cos of the free download - and so we were pretty much brimming over with excitement when his album, “Fallen on Def Ears“, dropped through our letterbox a couple of weeks ago (review coming very soon).

Now as the release date nears, it is time for the obligatory release party and all the good things that come with it. The hosts for the event will be Breakin Bread and it is due to take place on 6 November, at the Social, on Little Portland Street (just behind Oxford Circus). DJs on the night will be the man of the moment himself, Para, along with Baila and Skeg.

The event is going to be running from 7pm till 1am and the Social’s quite a small venue, so probably best to get your asses down there cos it is also free entry all night. I’ve not caught Para live yet, but if the album is anything to go by, he definitely knows how to get the place jumping.
