NO USE FOR A NAME “FEEL GOOD RECORD OF THE YEAR” ALBUM REVIEW
April 1st saw the release of the “Feel Good Record Of the Year” from No use For A Name. This albulm has everything you might expect from one of punk rocks greatest bands.
The opening track “Biggest Lie” starts with a 1950’s style news bulletin. There is a short drum flash and then the powerful melodic riffs kick in to mark the start of probably one of NUFAN’s strongest releases yet. The songs are filled with that feel-good feeling and melodic madness that is No Use For A Name. This album is everything it should be, regardless if you’re familiar with the older stuff this band have released or not, its hard to not like.
Catchy songs, melodious riffs and a couple of good old slow songs make “The Feel Good Record Of The Year” the feel good albulm of the year. It really does have that sound that No Use create, you know its them when you hear it, and once you’ve listened enough to know the words you’ll find yourself singing along to Tony Sly’s all too familiar voice.
For anyone who hasn’t already picked this album up, go out and get it now! It’ll make you feel good! Check our link on the left of the page and head over to the Fat Wreck website to order your copy now!
