SLAM CITY SAVING SOUTHBANK!

I just clocked this as well, and it definitely warrants a post.
Given most of the people involved in this site met at or have lots of memories associated with Southbank, I thought it was important to draw peoples attention to the Save Southbank campaign.
On the Slam City website you can see more about it, and there is a petition to be signed here to see if those old bastards in Whitehall will actually listen to us! There are only 2,000 or so signatures so far, so lets try and make it a whole lot more.
There is also the premier of the Save Southbank film on 7th February at the Prince Charles Cinema, 7 Leicester Place (nearest tube is Leicester Square). Tickets are free and you can only get them from Slam City which is in Neal’s Yard, Covent garden.
Southbank is important not only to skaters, but to bmxers too so pull your finger out and get amongst it.
